ZERO POINT RAISES FUNDS FOR EOD WARRIOR FOUNDATION AND SPECIAL OPERATIONS WARRIOR FOUNDATION AT SOFIC
GIVING BACK AND HONORING OUR FALLEN HEROES
The team at Zero Point just returned from the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC) held in Tampa, Florida last week. We wanted to take a moment to share with you some of the highlights in case you missed it. The theme for the conference was “Evolving the Network to Counter Emerging Threats”. Our focus was centered on Modern Explosive Ordnance Disposal.
After months of planning, we were excited to finally unveil our custom-booth designed by our company CEO Perry Sasnett. This was a great challenge for the team as this year’s booth was 30’ X 30’ and there was plenty of space to fill while at the same time offering a unique and interactive experience for attendees, one that only Zero Point could deliver.
Booth Design, Layout and Energy
Our layout consisted of partitioned sections which highlighted our products, services, international and technology partners as well as two meeting areas and a donation station in honor of the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and EOD Warrior Foundation.
Perry’s wife Stacy designed all of the booth’s eye-catching signage, swag and the buzzworthy Zero Point Balloon. The booth was decked from top to bottom with the company’s signature colors, custom bar tables with the Zero Point Logo and custom stools! Our team of brand ambassadors also wore custom dresses courtesy of the ever-stylish Stacy Sasnett and her eye for fashion.
This year in an effort to reduce waste and enable attendees to access our product information from their own devices, we decided to approach our marketing materials from a different spectrum. Our Director of Operations Bud Fultz introduced the company to Augmented Reality, a technology by which users can experience computer generated content such as graphics in the real world. Visitors were able to scan into details and specs on a specific product by simply scanning visuals in the booth.
Multiple visual displays produced-in house captured highlights Explosive Ordnance Disposal Products by Zero Point including the TiTAN, TETRA-X, and the MUTTS. Custom-built built EOD Kits and solutions of all sizes were on display while our sales team was on hand to answer questions and conduct live demos. We also did a preview for the DRT (Down Range Tool), a new product innovation that Perry and his engineering team have been developing this year.
Our donation station and swag area was a huge success thanks to all of our participants. Zero Point is pleased to announce that the team raised $5000 for the EOD Warrior Foundation and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. We would like to thank each and every individual who stopped by our booth to contribute as both of these organizations have made a tremendous impact in our community; we are honored to support and give back.
