ZERO POINT WELLNESS PROGRAM
13 DAYS LATER – INTERACTIVE AND FOCUSED
by: Stacy Sasnett
We are 13 days into the Pilot ZP Wellness Program and I’m happy to report that the participants I have interacted with remain focused. There are a total of 13 participants in three different states: VA, NC & NV.
We have the perfectly diverse team to go through the pilot course, I’m confident we will pave the way for the rest of the year and especially the official launch of the ZPWP on Match 1, 2017.
ZPWP Pilot Rules:
· No sabotaging allowed
· Submit progress report on time
· Support your peers – even if you are kicking them in the ass
· Have Fun!
I really enjoyed receiving feedback from the participants and am once again humbled and inspired by all of them. Many of them stated that “accountability” was personally incentivizing, so I have personally added to my list of goals to make sure this program provides an effective accountability for all. With that being said, this is the pilot program so we will utilize a few different techniques to determine what is the most effective and what is not for that matter. And at the end of the day, I will open up the floor for constructive criticism from the participants and even observers to build on and better the program.
Some of the self-proclaimed challenges include: weight loss, water intake, daily step goals, rowing and smoking cessation. I have personally chosen to go gluten-free and learn to jump rope. The later may seem not very challenging, but trust me, if you witnessed me in action you would understand.
I have sent a few emails in the past week and a half trying to motivate and remind the participants about what they have signed up for. I like to send out some pics like the one below.
I’m trying to instigate a conversation amongst the team, I have welcomed them to share their trials and tribulations, inspiring quotes, playful banter, challenging comments, comic strips… as often as they would like. However, the only requirement is that they submit their progress reports on 2/10/17, 2/17/17, 2/24/17 (by midnight) and their final report for the pilot program on 2/28/17 by noon. We will update the Bad Ass Board (BAB) located at HQ weekly and send to the group. Their progress report should include information that is pertinent to their personally defined goals, all formats and file types will initially be accepted: excel spreadsheet, snapshot of fitness app, simple email, etc. however, we may limit the file types for the official launch in March.
I’ll be working with the committee to get the BAB participant data populated this week and will send out the template once it’s complete. We will also be finalizing the incentive for the pilot program and will be announcing it on February 10, 2017.
I’ve witnessed a little competition and side bets being developed here and there. I’m looking forward to receiving the participant data and posting it on the Bad Ass board, it will be interesting to say the least!
