ZP WELLNESS PILOT PROGRAM OFFICIALLY CLOSED
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NOMINEES AND THE WINNER
by Stacy Sasnett

The Wellness Pilot Program is officially closed and I’m super excited to announce the winner of a new pair of athletic shoes! It was a close call! The nominees included Jeff Smith, Kim Haymon, and Bud Fultz, they all accomplished their goal and are determined to DO IT and DO IT NOW! The winner took it by a close vote, she has been motivated, dedicated and serious about her goals. Congratulations Jennifer Ricketts! We are all proud of you!

I have witnessed every participant in the program improve on some level even if they didn’t meet their goals. I commend all of them for their commitment. On a personal level, I can honestly say I learned a couple of things and while I’m not exactly where I was hoping I would be, I’m a little smarter on a couple of things; time management and how my body responds to certain foods. On a professional level I learned a little more about what will make the program more effective. We have refined the program to make it even more “user friendly” by requiring fewer submissions and defining the incentives.
We ironed out most of the wrinkles in the pilot program and are headed into March with an effective launch. We have changed the phases of the program (the one-month challenge is back by popular demand) the schedule will go as follows:
March 1 -31, 2017: incentive is $250 Dicks gift card
April 1 – June 30, 2017: incentive is up to $500 in athletic tech wear, for example Garmin, fit bit, ear buds, IPod etc.
July 1 – December 1, 2017: incentive is a one-ounce gold coin

Moving forward, weekly submissions will not be required but will be requested. We, at HQ think it’s fun to see the progress on the Bad Ass Board, but also understand that it can be burdensome every week. Monthly updates will be required to track progress and help everyone decide whom they would like to nominate as the winner of the three incentives above.
To enhance the program, we are bringing nutrition to the forefront of the participants’ minds. Cheryl Zonkowski, a brilliant registered dietician came to speak to us and educate us on food and nutrition impacts on our health. She will present a few informative series sporadically throughout the year on different topics to include supplements, food pairing, macro importance etc.
Looking forward to March and the continued transformation of our awesome team!
